Anchor Point, con le sue roccie sulla sabbia e sulla barriera corallina, è uno dei luoghi di surf più ricercati di Taghazout. È possibile in una buona giornata cavalcare le onde per quasi un chilometro.
Point-break destro che regge mareggiate grosse con onde che possono raggiungere i 5m. Richiede mare per lavorare, altrimenti l'onda non ha potenza. Rompe proprio in prossimità della prima punta a ovest di Taghazout per cui è possibile tenerlo d'occhio dall'albergo. Per raggiungere il picco è necessario scendere giù a piedi dalla strada ed andare a nuoto. Nelle condizioni ottimali l'onda è eccezionalmente lunga, con pareti ripide di diverse centinaia di metri. point break destro fantastico, forse il migliore della zona. Rompe di fronte a una scogliera su un fondale di sabbia e roccia. Onda lunghissima, oltre i 500 metri, bella, potente e con diverse sezioni. Lavora con tutte le maree con swell sopra il metro e mezzo. Per entrare buttarsi dalla punta del point e uscire da una piccola spiaggetta vicino al villaggio. Onda per solo esperti e sempre affollata. Regge fino a 4 metri.

Surf Schools There is a surf club at Devil's Rock, it's a project of the Moroccan federation and the association of Human developement in Morocco. They are several surf schools in the area, and we think that Africa Extrem Surf Camps and Surf Maroc are almost the only recommended ones. When its Flat? If the point gets busy there is plenty of room to spread out down the sections and enjoy this fine break. Villaggio di pescatori, Taghazout � molto propenso ad uno stile di vita a ritmo di oceano e sole. La luce infatti batte sul villaggio dal mattino presto fino al calare del sole, spettacolo quotidiano al quale non si pu� assolutamente mancare. Dai beach break per principianti come Banana Point ai point break per esperti come Boiler o Anchor point. Da Settembre ad Aprile, questa zona beneficia di constanti swell. La combinazione di queste swell con la grande depressione invernale del nord atlantico con i venti off-shore, fanno di Taghazout una destinazione da sogno per il surf e per i surfisti di tutto il mondo. Riceve le stesse swell dell'Europa Atlantica, ma essendo protetta dall'anticiclone delle Azzorre, dal grande Capo Ghir e dalle montagne circostanti, le condizioni climatiche sono sempre piacevoli durante tutto l'anno, la temperatura invernale va raramente al di sotto dei 22� e quella dell�acqua � sempre intorno ai 18�. Inoltre i numerosi spot fanno in modo che anche quando le condizioni siano proibitive, ci sia sempre uno spot riparato che offre onde facili per tutti i livelli! Clima Il clima � piacevole tutto l�anno con estati temperate e molto ventose, ed inverni miti con meno vento.
